Gala Drag Queen Las Palmas

The Drag Gala of the Las Palmas de Gran Canaria Carnival 2026 celebrated its 50th anniversary with a historic event at Parque Santa Catalina. Clínica PhysioÉlite participated as the official sponsor of the winning fantasy of Drag La Tacones (Kevin Jiménez), who conquered the most coveted crown of the festivities with her show '¡Hoy voy a ser yo! Aunque el mundo no esté preparado…' (Today I will be myself! Even if the world isn't ready…). The design, created by Nancy Henríquez and sponsored by our clinic, paid tribute to flamenco art with an ode to the coexistence of peoples. The 3-and-a-half-minute performance transported the audience from an Andalusian market with combs, mantillas, fans and «lots of accent», in a frenetic and changing show that brought Parque Santa Catalina to its feet. This sponsorship reflects our commitment to the culture, art and diversity of Gran Canaria, supporting events that celebrate freedom, creativity and Canarian identity. The Drag Gala represents a night of freedom where the heart of the city beats at the same rhythm, honoring those who fought when «being different was an act of bravery».
